Achieving Success

Our vast experience means we can focus on the key stress points that arise in transactions and guide our clients through the process efficiently Our team has worked on transactions with values from £50k to £50 million.

Our Corporate team works closely with the firm’s Real Estate team and, consequently, is often advising on M&A transactions underpinned by real estate assets; these include acquisitions in sectors such as Care, Retail, Leisure, FM, construction and property (both commercial and residential). Running in parallel with our corporate advice, we also advise regulators such as the Regulator for Social Housing (RSH) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The fact that we are so heavily involved in the setting up and administration of regulation means that we are uniquely placed to advise our regulated corporate clients on their impact.

Expertise

Unlike many other firms, our expertise also extends to advising not-for-profit organisations including charities on their investment activities and transactions, in addition to more general corporate governance issues.

Our versatility extends beyond our general corporate advisory service to include all the non-contentious corporate issues and transactions that face the following clients:

  • PLCs;
  • Private companies – from global organisations to SMEs and start-ups;
  • Entrepreneurs;
  • City based businesses and financiers;
  • Partnerships establishing ventures; and
  • Not for profit organisations including registered providers and charities.

Problem Solving

The issues we can deal with range in scope from one-off transactions that involve a small number of shareholders through to complex multi-national transactions involving multiple institutional, corporate and individual investors. Recognising the need for versatility alongside specific expertise, we have developed industry knowledge in areas such as healthcare, facilities management, logistics and construction and IT.
